Reasons Why Bloggers don't want to Work with Brands

Image
I was scrolling through my twitter feeds and my attention was caught to these few words SOURCE SOURCE These two articles (click on Source for link) are written by Greg Goodson on 'The Hangar: A Rafflecopter Blog' few months ago. As a blogger myself, I would be intrigued and speed read through this interesting topic. I'm going to re-state the gist of the content and add in some of my opinion to share with my fellow friends, bloggers and etc. Viral marketing or blogger outreach shown great prove that it is one of the great ways to get your brand known but sometime, brands will get bloggers rejecting an offer to work with them. I guess what we have to understand here is that not all bloggers will want to work with all brands, not all bloggers are desperate to get free goods from the brands. I have friends telling me to not blog for free because it will not only drop the blog sphere's market but also the blogger's blog market. Thus, brands will lay back a

With a good & healthy skin... How I made it?

Image
I always believe that clear and healthy skin is the trick to all beautiful makeup because even when you are not wearing any makeup, you will still look really good. Of course, you've got to be emotional happy and smiley to pull everything off.  I know I am so much more confident when I do not have pimples or baggy eyes and obvious dark circles showing on my face. I am happier when I wear less foundation or BB cream, I am happy when I only need to curl my lashes and put on some mascara to be ready for an outing.  I used to be very stubborn in not wanting to spend money for facial but now I think if you have easily clogged pores skin type as mine & we eat too much junk, then facial is rather important. You don't have to over spend on expensive facials, just have a budget and inform your consultant. If it is over your budget, find somewhere else that will help to find solutions to your problem.  I am rather consistent in trying to do a hydrating mask everyday o

Kiss Goodbye to Breast Cancer Charity Walk by Avon [Event]

Image
Thousands of people in PINK walking for a good cause! I am not missing out, my outfit of the day! In conjunction with the global celebration of Avon's 20th Breast Cancer Crusade anniversary, Avon Malaysia joins other 58 countries and host its second Avon Walk Around the World for Breast Cancer event. Kiss Goodbye to Breast Cancer was held at Putrajaya, in front of Palace of Justice. They definitely picked the right place to have the walk as I remember walking that 5km with joy due to the beautiful sceneries and fun music playing throughout the walk. They even have fun card boards stating encouraging things like "1km- run faster!", "Stress free zone" & cheerleaders cheering us to complete the journey. They also had a sharing session by some of the Breast Cancer Survivors to give encouragements and tips on how to stay positive during those hard moment of their life. It was very touching and made me felt so proud of them! Group Photo

Statement Rosette Sleeve Dress in Cerise Pink [Review]

Image
~Hollywood Glamour~ Old hollywood touches like rosettes make this dress a glamourous affair. Keep the focus on the shoulders with an updo and sleek accessories. Details include: seam detailing, twisted sleeves to form rosettes, folded detailing at skirt and a hidden back zipper for c otton elastane blend material dress. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this dress! It is one of those dresses that are not too revealing but still there is the very sexy, professional, and stylish feel. I'm actually quite glad that this dress wasn't too tight for me, the fitting was just right, loose enough to still be able to flaunt your curves. I love the neckline and the front petal design skirt, the puff sleeves really adds the whole rosette glamorous look. The colour just makes you stand from the rest! The only thing was the bit stiff sleeves, it does restricts my arm movements but oh well, we are suppose to act more lady-like in this dress, :D play the part as well!   ~Only from
