If you are familiar with Genting's Pizza Factory, well, it's gone now. Replaced by this fancy place call Bubbles & Bites. Aren't the name adorable? However, it is creeply hard to pronounce. At one point, I called it Bumbles & Bite and sometimes I call it B&B or BB just because either I am unsure of the pronunciation or I'm just lazy. It is opened for almost a week or so, I finally managed to get in and try the new restaurant in town (by town, I meant Genting). Due to it being new and fancy AND WE GET TO SIGN WITH OUR MEAL CARD, everyone wants to have their lunch there. Trust me, I've tried to get a place since forever but it is full house almost the whole week during lunch and dinner time. It is apparently to be similar as the old Pizza Factory where they serve pizzas, spaghetti, burgers, salads and etc. Very western which is good as you can't really find much restaurants that sells pastas in Genting.  Pricing wise, pretty decent for Gent

I was lucky to have the opportunity to join the CSR team for a time of tuition teaching for the orphans at Batang Kali. It was one of those times where I am able to get out the office, I was happy and felt satisfied after even a short while teaching these kids. It was way better than having me staying in the office, in front of the computer and hitting on the keyboard.  It was a rather nausea ride down and up that day, maybe cause I tend to feel that way when I travel in a van. I don't really get sick in a car or a bus. :)  While working full time, I realized that I can not start my day with rice/noodles/heavy meal or I will get sleepy right after breakfast. Also, getting too full for lunch gets me in trouble of closing my eyes during the rest of the day. I can't focus and I just feel so emo when I am sleepy, not fun at all. If I am not mistaken, Genting will have a Street Carnival annually for their employees. I think is a brilliant idea as some of us may have gotten rather bored of the canteens and food stalls. The best part was that if you register, you get yourself a RM10 voucher to spend in the carnival! That totally covers your dinner for the night. It was fun, it is a night market concept and some of the famous stalls such as Uncle Bob Fried Chicken and Fat Boy Lok-Lok and chicken wings and roti john can be found there! It is a pretty big event, thus with the media and opening ceremony on the first night. They also invited cheerleaders and organized flash mob purely by Genting's own employees dancing! If you want to know how many employee are there in Genting, yup, this is definitely the best time walk down that street and you will find it to be crazy pack!
