Christmas is incomplete without desserts and one of my favourite place to get my sweet tooth fixed is UnionJac , located at Pop in The School, Jaya One . They are famous for their homemade macarons that comes in a couple of unique flavours that's not available anywhere else!

Another festival post?! Oh yes, I became a party queen last weekend. Attended one festival after another. Can't complain, it was quite fun. :D  Youth United Festival 2014 , presented by Honor 6, was held in stadium Melawati, Shah Alam, open carpark area. It was a day filled with celebrities, performances, sports, arts, music, food and so much more! 

2014 has been a year of change. So many things had happened, big, small, good and bad, all I can say is that I am thankful. Or to be exact, I choose to be thankful because some things are out of our control.  I thank God for the great things that happened in my life, things such as getting a job that allows me to travel and experience different cultures, having the opportunity to do what I love which is writing and blogging, and to meet new people as well as reunited with friends that I've not seen for a really long time. I also thank God for the unpleasant moments and experiences because they are priceless, a lesson learnt for me to prepare for my future self. Not only making me stronger and more mature, but it also taught me about humility and the gift of silence.   

If you know me, you should know by now that I'm not much of a festival kind of girl. I don't know why, but maybe that personality of mine is about to change.  I've blindly attended #OhhSOME Fest organised by Hotlink without any knowledge or expectation of what's going on. All I knew was that David Choi and Wong Fu will be there. So, if they are going to be there, it's probably going to be rather hipster. AND I WAS ABSOLUTELY RIGHT! 

Okay, I'm just gonna give it up straight to you. No bullshit. Perfecto is invading some of your favourite hipster cafe! Of course, for a limited time only.

I was on Superstar Libra Cruise for 4D3N, travelling from Penang to Phuket to Krabi and back to Penang again. Imagining myself laying on deck enjoying the windy yet sunny day, it was definitely the best time for me to finally try out a new sunscreen.  I've had this for a long time in it's packaging and I was glad that I brought it along with me for this trip because not only the deck can be burning, my Phuket and Krabi city tours were extremely sunny and hot too. So, sunscreen is must for the whole body! 

Have you noticed that I've been wearing my new glasses a lot lately? I've only got it for about a month and I've been wearing this glasses out a lot, especially when I was travelling to Singapore and on Superstar Libra cruise last month.  Trust me when I say I was glad to own this artsy-looking glasses because my previous spectacles weren't in any way camera friendly. So, it was strictly only for those days when I can choose to be camera shy and aunty-mode.  Since I will be travelling more often as well as I would like to reduce my wear of contact lenses (due to laziness), getting a new pair of spectacles that's more camera ready really helped in reducing fuss in my hectic lifestyle.  

I know what I want to be this coming New Year!  The Shupette 2014 Holiday Collection by Shu Uemura is definitely an adorable one to own this festive season. So white and pure and fuzzy and warm, like sitting by the fireplace during a cold white Christmas, patting our soft furry pets while holding a hot cup of coco on the other hand.  Inspired by Fashion Designer Karl Lagerfeld's snow white princess feline, Choupette, Shu Uemura decided to flaunt the kitty's perfect blue cat eye! Making you purr with delight! 

It was an honour to witness World Champion , World Class Harmonica Maestro 1st grand solo concert last week. Hosted by MENICA, Circle Live in Malaysia 2014 is the first step to introduce this new generation of Malaysian instrumental idol. Kif Valentine had won numerous awards and had frequently been invited to participate in major events.  Kif aims to break the stereotype of the public towards Harmonica Music by playing the Harmonica in various styles and rhythms, demonstrating the true charm of Harmonica Music. It's not as simple as it looks!  The stage decoration were heavily invested upon with colourful lightings and LED effect. Kif kicks off with a series of upbeat country cowboy style music and gently mellow down to his few favourites pieces of love songs. He also took a step further by playing a wonderful melody in remembrance of MH370. Additionally, guest performer, Virus Wu, sang beautifully and Magician Ken Woo blew our minds with his amazing tricks. 

I've wearing MiaCare CONFiDENCE Daily Lenses for the past week and I have to say, I truly enjoy the experience. It's seriously amazing. I can wear them all day and most of my night without any problems! And it's quite natural looking, doesn't make you look too dolly or like you are trying too hard to make your eyes look bigger. 

Woohoo, another fun night out with REAL food blogger! We talk, we laugh, we eat and be merry! This time around, the location was totally strategic for me. The food review was in Klang, I have no excuse to say no to their invitation. BBT One is located just beside Premier Hotel, which is on the Bukit Tinggi side of Klang. The place always have ample parking space and I believe it's RM2 per entry. So it's super convenient.

Okay, it's not the prettiest swan but hey, it doesn't look all that bad right. :D It wasn't the easiest thing to do (for a non-cook/ no artistic skill like me). I have to admit this was the second swan I've made, the first one was pretty as a first attempt but looking back, it was just plain ugly once my skill got better. 

Mascara, mascara. Can't live without them. It's quite a game changer cause they truly helps in opening up our eyes. Making us look more awake and for me, it makes my brown eyes stands out more.  Bourjois Paris Volume 1 Seconde Mascara claims to be able to immediately coat all lashes and achieve maximum volume from every angle with 16-hour holding power. These claims are too good to be true. 

Yes, I've signed up for another round of Zespri's Kiwi 14-Day Challenge! Well, technically, this year I've been a bad contestant. I haven't been consistently following up with my post and stuff. Lols. Busy month I have to admit. Fuh!  Anyway, here I present to you Zespri Kiwi 3-Way featuring a glass of detoxifying kiwi infused water, nourishing and refreshing kiwi face mask, and a delicious honey kiwi smoothie! Here's how I did it. 

If you followed my Instagram (@JQLEEJQ), you would probably have seen a picture of me and a rosemary plant probably about two weeks back. As expected, the plant did not survive under my care. I have no idea if my dad had taken it to replant it or something else, but one thing I know is that I don't have a green thumb. It was fun though pretending to be one for a little while.  Rosemary aside, let's talk about the star ingredient for invati solutions for thinning hair , turmeric.

Which is exactly the type of mindset that I needed.

How do you like my eyes? Lols, yes, as much as I do love my natural light brown eyes, being a typical girl, I do like to spice things up. Giving yourself a makeover is always fun, changing up styles and making yourself look different is always an interesting process for me.  Horien Eye Secret is new and one of the top contact lens brand in Taiwan and China. All products, including soft lenses, colour lenses, solutions and eye drops, are manufactured by a Taiwanese company call Yung Sheng Optical Co. Ltd. They have acquired a variety of certificates and remain in compliance with world standards and regulations. 

I'm not the biggest fan of BB and CC creams. I always feel that they do not give enough coverage but they are great for those days when your skin already looks good but just needed a touch of magic to even up the skin tone. Also, when Bourjois came out with a CC cream for eyes, tang tang tang, too interesting to forego. Just had to test them out.

My friend recently gave me two of these mask to try mainly because she adores it so much and sharing passionately with me on how nice this mask feels on the skin. True enough, once I tried it, I was as hooked as Captain Hook. There's something about it that's different from other masked I've tried but I can't quite put my finger on it.
