5 Reasons Why I Want To Stop Shaving My Legs & Underarms

Image
Here's the thing, being a lady takes a lot of effort. Especially in this modern era, we are expected to be so much more than just being good at housework. Long gone the days when our priority is to stay home and learn up all the amazing cooking, cleaning and sewing skills in hoping we can be a good wife to some manly breadwinner some day. It's a amazing how Gender Equality empowers women, it gives us more freedom and opportunities to be something more. However, it comes with a cost. The repercussion of this movement is expectations for women to be stronger, bolder, and more emotionally stable. At the same time, we should still be able to carry out womanly duties and characters, which includes having a nurturing spirit, compassion, kind and gentle. Additionally, we can't look like a hobo too. We are expected to look at the very least, presentable. Thanks to media (yes, I blame media) and society, the perception of "presentable" is not even close to just lookin

Buka Puasa Bersama Cyberview Resort & Spa!

One of the perks of being in Malaysia is no doubt, the food variety. It gets better during Ramadan season with bazaars and buffets available throughout the nation.  For Muslims, Ramadan is believed to be the holiest month of the year. It's the ninth month in the Islamic calendar. For an entire month, observant Muslims do not eat or drink during daylight hours as an act of worship. Fasting is one of the five pillars of Islam along with shahadah (declaration of faith), salat (five daily prayers), zakat (almsgiving), and hajj (pilgrimage to Mecca).  As a Malaysian, I personally do enjoy Buka Puasa sessions with my Muslim friends because the food is always good! This time I had the opportunity to break Fast with my family at Cyberview Resort & Spa in Cyberjaya. The best part is, they reminded me of delicious home-cooked food that's prepared according to the traditional recipes.

Win A Set Of Pierre Cardin Sport Range - Energized II [Contest]

Being a young adult in this era is not easy. Especially when all our peers are getting into the whole fitness and gym and eating clean programme, it just makes you wonder "What Am I Doing?" while lying on your bed munching on the best tasting unhealthy snack ever.  I used to play sports when I was in high school and in uni but things change when you start working. A lot of times this is when working OUT is not much of a priority anymore. No doubt, we all want to exercise but we use time as our excuse.  I've only gotten back into the whole exercise thing about 8 months back after being peer-pressured into joining my first trail run. And it's a 12km trail NIGHT run with no prior training. Champion of the world.  After that, I started joining more runs and I'm glad to have a few good friends onboard with me on this. It's been good so far but will most probably take a step back on running due to my studies, though, I've just signed up for gym

SK-II Pitera On-The-Go [Review]

Image
SK-II introduced two new essentials - SK-II Mid-Day Miracle Essence and Mid-Night Miracle Essence - to deliver a boost of crystal clear skin anytime, anywhere. This is probably two of the most interesting products that I really wanted to try as it's truly something unique that I've never thought SK-II will offer. Many times, after applying makeup, we no longer apply skincare. Common sense. However, I'm sure there are some of us wish that we could apply skincare even in the middle of the day. This is where we pull out our mist and all kinds of refreshing spray products to give us the additional hydration boost. Similarly, these new Miracle Essences is made with women on-the-go in mind. They penetrate through makeup to lock in moisture, preventing the potential visible effects of oxidative stress instantly and strengthens the skin barrier over time.

My gorgeous selections of lady heels. So pretty! I can't stop staring at them! and this.... My shoe-fie. All you need is a full length mirror and a mirror app, you'll get some of the coolest picture. and this...  Although it's last season oversized coat, I just couldn't keep my hand away from it. The material and the length totally caught my eye, it's so something you'll see on Gossip Girl.

Let's face it, thanks to the current Korean trend or better known as Hallyu , we somewhat became obsessed with natural, dewy looking skin. It's almost the new ideology of what's having perfect skin all about. Well, I don't blame us for falling prey into this popular culture, I blame mass media for this. I'm not really complaining though, almost, kinda love it.  Okay, so by now, we should all know this. Too well, in fact. Yes, I'm a little late on this whole cushion foundation hype but I have a good reason for it but let's first talk about Sulwhasoo's latest Perfecting Cushion.
