If you followed my Instagram (@JQLEEJQ), you would probably have seen a picture of me and a rosemary plant probably about two weeks back. As expected, the plant did not survive under my care. I have no idea if my dad had taken it to replant it or something else, but one thing I know is that I don't have a green thumb. It was fun though pretending to be one for a little while.  Rosemary aside, let's talk about the star ingredient for invati solutions for thinning hair , turmeric.

This sounds crazy but I have been using only this fragrance for the past 2-3 weeks. It's even sitting everywhere outside of my normal perfume collection cupboard! I have a strong feeling it's due to the subtle message behind this bottle of independence. If you've seen the commercial all over TV, especially DIVA channel, you will know what I'm talking about. The way BOSS MA VIE Pour Femme ambassador Gwyneth Paltrow walks, the way she talks, her posture and even her chic tuxedo (tailored by Jason Wu, Artistic Director BOSS Womens wear) totally exudes confidence. Which is exactly the type of mindset that I needed.

How do you like my eyes? Lols, yes, as much as I do love my natural light brown eyes, being a typical girl, I do like to spice things up. Giving yourself a makeover is always fun, changing up styles and making yourself look different is always an interesting process for me.  Horien Eye Secret is new and one of the top contact lens brand in Taiwan and China. All products, including soft lenses, colour lenses, solutions and eye drops, are manufactured by a Taiwanese company call Yung Sheng Optical Co. Ltd. They have acquired a variety of certificates and remain in compliance with world standards and regulations. 

I'm not the biggest fan of BB and CC creams. I always feel that they do not give enough coverage but they are great for those days when your skin already looks good but just needed a touch of magic to even up the skin tone. Also, when Bourjois came out with a CC cream for eyes, tang tang tang, too interesting to forego. Just had to test them out.

My friend recently gave me two of these mask to try mainly because she adores it so much and sharing passionately with me on how nice this mask feels on the skin. True enough, once I tried it, I was as hooked as Captain Hook. There's something about it that's different from other masked I've tried but I can't quite put my finger on it.

As most of you know, sunscreens have always been a big part of me since I'm psycho when it comes to pigmentation and ageing. Thus, I was truly glad to be one of the winners to try this in full size from Tammy's Blog. Overall, I love Kiehl's. I do buy them even when they are not on sale, technically, they never have any sale or discounts. The best time for you to buy them is by joining member and wait for your birthday discount. Though, a good product sells, for me I find myself kept repurchasing their Avocado Eye Cream  that's great for super dry under eyes. Now with this sunscreen, I can't complain because it's quite a nice product over my moisturiser.

Okay, I have to admit. Walking around a convention full of new techy stuff is not as boring as I thought. Especially, if you get to play, test and eat, it's pretty fun. :D It was nice being invited to Toshiba's showcase on its latest line-up of Audio-Visual (AV) products and Home Appliances (HA) at GICC, Resorts World Genting. The theme was "Smart Technology, Smart Future". It reflects on the vision of offering consumers a whole range of modern and exciting products that make a home, truly a home. (Left to Right) Deven, Diana, Me, SuQuan, Jane, Jessica It was Ladies Night at Signature The Roof last Thursday and a bunch of us were invited to the launch of Ladies On Top Cruise Chic Party to celebrate, mingle and have fun! There were all girls live band playing tunes that you just want to dance and sing along, colourfully delicious cocktails and accompanied by one of the most yummylicious nachos on earth. Seriously, even if you're not there for the booze, you will never regret ordering their top notch nachos. Of course, it won't be The Roof without going out to their balcony for a some picture session with the lovely Bandar Utama's street, it was unfortunately hazy that night but what the heck, it was a great night, I really had so much fun catching up with other lovely blogger friends!

This is one long overdue blogpost but I still want to talk about it because it is definitely one of the most moisturising matte lip colour I've ever worn! I seriously can't get enough of it.  Mr. Shu Uemura once said that colours are like personalities, they are infinite. Tint in gelato lip and cheek colour reflects that philosophy perfectly thanks to the infinite colour variations and multitude of different effects that can be achieved easily.

Of course, I always make it a point to take 10, 000 pictures after getting a hair makeover. I'm a beauty blogger, that's what I do. Lols.  Anyway, I visited Frank Salon for the second time mainly to get a hair treatment. As you all might know, since my last hairdo, I bleached my hair twice. Thus, pampering my hair with a professional salon treatment is justifiable. Plus, since everyone commented how pretty this faded hair colour is, I decided to keep the colour until I'm bored with it.  R ead about my Hair Bleaching and Colouring experience at Frank Salon here. Btw, thank you for all your kind compliments on my hair on social media ( Instagram , FB and  Twitter ), I truly do love them very much too!

It was redder than Chinese New Year affair in September. Everyone was looking gorgeous in theme while getting the back of their hands pampered with the Shiseido Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate and lips painted with some of Shiseido's great lipsticks. 

Burt's Bee just launched this new Intense Hydration collection. The inspiration behind this range is from a native Southern Europe plant, Clary Sage, that has an exceptional ability to trap and retain moisture.  This beautiful lilac plant is a xerophyte plant which needs very little water or attention for growth which makes it extremely adaptable in harsh and dry conditions. Thus, this acts as the Intensive Hydration range's natural ode to help cope with dry skin and at the same time provides soft, supple, revitalised skin. Besides that, it also aims to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles caused by dehydration.  Personally, I've only had one time hands-on to the eye cream and night cream. So I can't talk much about them other than they being very thick and cream just like the rest of the product in the collection. However, I have the Treatment Mask in full size and deluxe samples of the Day Cream and Cleanser. I will review these three items.
