I received this ages ago and have been holding this off my lips specifically to do a first impressions video on my YouTube channel. Finally found the time to do it and here's the review! I've seen a couple of powder lip products in the market but mostly are from a Korean brand. It was pretty trendy a while back but I never really thought about trying it as I have pretty dry lips and I have a gut feeling that it would be too drying for my lips. So when DIOR sent me their new Spring Collection items and it includes this DIOR Rouge Gradient Lip Shadow Duo in Red, it is the perfect time to give the whole powder lippie trend a test. On my second day of Gangwon-do, Korea trip, I had the opportunity to try out one of the most authentic Korean Set Meal called Hanjeongsik. This kind of spread is usually consumed by royalties in the old days where they have cold to hot dishes served. Back in the days in Korea, there's actually a specific order when eating Hanjeongsik but these days, they'll usually just serve all at once. I prefer it this way too.  The other great part about having this meal is also the location of this place. The restaurant name SeoJiChoGaTeul, is little house located in Gangneung. Surrounding the house is a beautiful open area filled with trees, river, and a magnificient view of hills and mountains.

I've received these items a couple months back and I finally have my verdict on the skincare items in this range. I have 5 items from the DiorSnow line but for this blogpost, I will only be reviewing the 3 skincare items - DiorSnow Essence of Light Lotion, DiorSnow Brightening Refining Moist Cloud Creme, and the DiorSnow UV Shield. The first and second night in Gangwon, Korea, I was pampered with such a luxurious hotel. The SamCheok Sol Beach Hotel and Resort is huge and really well maintained. It's unfortunate that I didn't have the time to spend a day chilling around the hotel, that would have been amazing because they have so many areas that you can walk around and enjoy the view of the ocean. I don't have the pictures but it's in my video, I do recommend visiting the Santorini park here during the day.  As for my hotel room, I was staying in a Superior Double room with a view facing the nearby beach that's unfortunately not connected to the hotel for safety purposes. 

Eversoft have been trying to rebrand themselves into a younger brand for sometime now and from what I can see, they are slowly coming up with more trendy products that the younger generation are into these days. The two new products that they sent to me to try are the Eversoft 100% Organic Tomato Micellar Cleansing Water and the Eversoft 100% Organic Yuzu 2 in 1 Cleanser and Toner. Both formulated with Japanese Technology and ingredients, and both being paraben-free, SLS free, alcohol free, and mineral oil free. Eversoft claims that the reason why they use organic plant actives because it enhances our skin's natural function and optimises skin regeneration for healthier skin. Doesn't that sounds great. I have a love hate relationship with winter and snow. They are a beautiful season but the weather condition can really dry my already super dry skin. Thus, when I was on a FAM Trip to Gangwon, South Korea in February, I was ready and brought along products that I knew would be good to withstand the harsh dry windy cold weather in Korea.

Before we talk about the fantastic nail buffet place that I've discovered while attend this nail workshop, let's talk about the new Sally Hansen Treatment product. They've recently launched Moisture Rehab Overnight Nail Serum, it claims to contain moisture and nutrient rich extracts for intense nail and cuticle restoration. Great for someone with severely dry, brittle, and dehydrated nails.  Okay, you'll probably think I'm wonky, I mean, how do anyone describe a severely dehydrated nail? To be honest, especially those gone through gel or acrylic manicure will totally know what does it mean by severe dehydrated nails. They become so brittle, thin, and weak. However, this doesn't mean that it may not apply to you if you haven't done gel or acrylic nails before. If there's a must eat in my what to eat in Gangwon, South Korea list, this would be on top. There's just something about the taste and the way they serve their snow crabs that are absolutely delightful. And just like most Korea dishes, it doesn't just end with the snow crabs.

(Image source: tvN) I'm one of those who completed the entire series of the k-drama Goblin (Dokebi), mainly because I find myself hooked to the cast members and yeah... the witty relationship between GongYoo and Lee Dong Wook and their partners.  It has been a long time since I've completed a K-series, if I remembered correctly it was since Autumn in My Heart (Endless Love) released in 2000. That was 17 years back! And still fresh in my memory on how much I cried while watching catching it on TV.  Imagine my excitement when I saw this place popping up on my travel itinerary but is it really worth the hype? 

By the time you are reading this, we would have exchanged rings, say our vows, and be married in the presence of God at your humble home. Even with just the first sentence of this blogpost, I can already feel the sting at the back of my eyes. Tilting my head back slightly, just enough to prevent my tears from surfacing up my cornea. No words could ever truly explain how blessed and happy I am to have this privilege to spend the rest of my life with you. I feel so bad, this is a super overdue review that I thought I've written but I actually haven't. :( I must have completely forgotten about this as once I was done recording a video and taking pictures, I immediately passed to my mom for her to try because I believe she will like it. I'm very fortunate to be able to collaborate with The Twee for this Haul video and #OOTTwee Lookbook. After being very much influenced by the whole Korean scene with trips to Korea and loads of K-drama, I'm not surprise that I've become very attracted to the Korean fashion and food.  Korean fashion is generally rather sweet and ladylike, and they are very suitable for everyday wear. I realise there has be a rise in trend of setting up a beautiful photo corner or photobooth specially for their guest to take pictures. No doubt, since it's so easy to snap a picture for social medias these days, people are getting more and more creative as well as seem to prefer to DIY to add that touch of personalised feeling into the wedding. Something that they can look back and be proud of as they made it themselves. Plus, it's more common for DIY projects to be cheaper than hiring someone else to do it for you. In particular, I was really impressed by the Pallet Wall background design. It has a very rustic and of course, hipster look. The best part, it's super easy to put them together and reuse them by decorating it completely
