[Review] John Carter (3D)

I was lucky enough to be invited by Elizabeth to the media screening of Disney's John Carter. I've been told that it is a good movie but I went watching it without any knowledge about the movie. Other than that, I was fortunate enough to enjoy the luxury of watching this awesome sci-fi movie in IMAX at TGV Sunway Pyramid. I had the time of my life, the big screen and great sound system totally made it worth watching in 3D.

Straight to the point:  YES, PLEASE GO WATCH IT.

It is a fantastic movie with a storyline that is unbounded to any restriction of common sense. The best part about sci-fi movie is the ability to make anything happen, your imagination can go wild. Of course, if you're a movie junkie, you could probably guess what's gonna happen next in some parts of the movie but I assure you that there will be some surprises here and there.

Body not as hot as Captain America but still, what a dreamy sight.

Synopsis
John Carter brings this captivating hero to the big screen in a stunning adventure epic set on the wounded planet of Mars, a world inhabited by warrior tribes and exotic desert beings. Based on the first of Edgar Rice Burroughs' "Barsoom Series", the film chronicles the journey of Civil-war veteran John Carter (Taylor Kitsch), who finds himself battling a new and mysterious war amidst a host of strange Martian inhabitants, including Tar Tarkas (Willem Dafoe) and Dejah Thoris (Lynn Collins)

Few new words you need to know:

Barsoom = Mars
Heliumites = Human-like, red-tattooed inhabitants of Helium, Barsoom with blue flag.
Zodangans = Human-like, red-tattooed inhabitants of Zodanga, Barsoom with red flag.
Therns = heralds of the Goddness Issus for the religion of Barsoom.
Tharks = Green man of Barsoom, the Alien of Mars we always imagine in short.
(Omg, at the end of the movie and this blogpost, I feel like I am fit to join the Big Bang Theory geng with all these alien language. Lols)

The real story will only begin when John's nephew reads his diary.

The Princess of Mars from the clan Helium in Barsoom.

It is an adventure for girls and guys as well because the lead actress is extremely hot too. And she can fight, double woots!

Ships in Barsoom fly because they got no ocean. Way cooler than earth.

 Tharks shooting ships.

 Battle place for Tharks

The cutest character is definitely Woola, similar to a dog in Barsoom. I'm showing you Woola in a short clips from the movie below:
