Bourjois Paris Volume 1 Seconde Mascara [Review]

Mascara, mascara. Can't live without them. It's quite a game changer cause they truly helps in opening up our eyes. Making us look more awake and for me, it makes my brown eyes stands out more. 

Bourjois Paris Volume 1 Seconde Mascara claims to be able to immediately coat all lashes and achieve maximum volume from every angle with 16-hour holding power. These claims are too good to be true. 

I think what triggered me most is the brush head. It comes with a wraparound spherical bristles that suppose to give a perfect volume to our lashes. The Volume 1 seconde mascara brush developed by Bourjois, takes inspiration from a professional round hairbrush. It's alternating bristles fitted with small wraparound spheres and straight bristles. This somewhat 'brushes' the lashes, envelopes the whole lash to coat it perfectly and defines each individual lash without forming clumps. 

I personally love the brush, totally smart and works great on my lashes. However, I'm not sure how it will work on people with shorter lashes. It's quite a big brush head, thus, it may be a little tough. 

The mascara formula combines 3 active lashmorping ingredients - carnauba, bee's waxes and jojoba ester - to provide that immediate thickening effect which is quite prominent. Plus, the intense black colour is great as it makes them pop even more! 

Unfortunately, it smudges on me and the lashes doesn't stay up for the entire day. I will have to curl them back up after 6 hours or so. Maybe the formula is just a little too heavy for thin lashes.
