Winners of the LivingSocial's Travel Contest [event]


Yup, we've all just missed out on the sweeptakes and stand a chance to win a Luxury Stay at Swiss Garden International Hotels, Resort and Inns.

The contest was conducted online from 3rd July till 25th July 2013 and four lucky enthusiasts among more than 3000 people who entered were chosen and rewarded with all inclusive 3D2N stay at one of these four locations below:

These winners worked hard because in the contest, the more you enter, the better your odds are. LivingSocial gave back to the Members with the Luxurious Prizes and made every participants a winner by giving them a discount code for their next purchase in conjunction of their 1 year anniversary. 

After the ceremony, we were all taken for a tour and meet the people behind the company. Not a very fancy office, products & boxes everywhere. Not their fault, is their line of work. A rather friendly environment due to desk are connected but no cubicles, which is not exactly my type of work scene. Lols, no offence, I'm just a cubicle person, anti-social during work. Plus, I like to own my territory so I can clutter it as I wish :D 

They have quite a big team, 3 floors in Boulevard, Midvalley. A couple of 'ang mo-s' around, naturally because the company is from D.C. I spoke to one of the managers and apparently they have free breakfast and tea time in the office most of the time. D: It feels like I'm watching Drop Dead Diva with her law firm serving food all the time. I'm devastated. #Drama

2014 has been a year of change. So many things had happened, big, small, good and bad, all I can say is that I am thankful. Or to be exact, I choose to be thankful because some things are out of our control.  I thank God for the great things that happened in my life, things such as getting a job that allows me to travel and experience different cultures, having the opportunity to do what I love which is writing and blogging, and to meet new people as well as reunited with friends that I've not seen for a really long time. I also thank God for the unpleasant moments and experiences because they are priceless, a lesson learnt for me to prepare for my future self. Not only making me stronger and more mature, but it also taught me about humility and the gift of silence.

The Immense Pressure, The Exploitations, And The Gratifications Of A Malaysian Blogger

Warning: This might be a long and wordy blogpost with a genuine intention to mainly express my thoughts as a blogger who has been in the industry for quite some time. This post is certainly not by anyway trying to shame any brands or PR companies, if name(s) are mentioned, it's because that incident actually happened. I think it's about time I said something.
