XES Be Stylish Hi-Tea!


I always enjoy bloggers get-together session with XES. Everybody seems to be extra cheerful and happy for that few hours. The energy and the vibe is so real, it's almost impossible not to smile. 

The highlight of the event is to announce the winner of Be Stylish with XES contest held from the 17th February till 17th March 2015. Winner has been selected based on the highest number of likes on XES Facebook page.

The prize was presented by XES Ambassador Miss XES Elegant 2014/2015, Ms. Mico Pun. The winner, Jane, walks away with RM888 cash prize and RM1,388 XES cash vouchers. Also, XES provided 10 sets of RM188 cash vouchers and an adorable pink toy, as a reward to Jane's 10 lucky fans.

2014 has been a year of change. So many things had happened, big, small, good and bad, all I can say is that I am thankful. Or to be exact, I choose to be thankful because some things are out of our control.  I thank God for the great things that happened in my life, things such as getting a job that allows me to travel and experience different cultures, having the opportunity to do what I love which is writing and blogging, and to meet new people as well as reunited with friends that I've not seen for a really long time. I also thank God for the unpleasant moments and experiences because they are priceless, a lesson learnt for me to prepare for my future self. Not only making me stronger and more mature, but it also taught me about humility and the gift of silence.

Warning: This might be a long and wordy blogpost with a genuine intention to mainly express my thoughts as a blogger who has been in the industry for quite some time. This post is certainly not by anyway trying to shame any brands or PR companies, if name(s) are mentioned, it's because that incident actually happened. I think it's about time I said something. I used to stop myself from writing these kind of somewhat controversial blogpost because I was afraid to rock the boat or offend anyone. Enough is enough.
