LEGO Star Wars Miniland at LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort!


I've never watched a Star Wars movie in my entire life but getting invited to go see the about to open Lego Miniland, how can I say no. I'll still get extremely excited if I were to get one of those Darth Vader or light torch keychain. Lols. 

Anyway, LEGO Star Wars Miniland Model Display will be opening at LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort on 6th September 2014 in conjuction with the Resort's second anniversary. This will be the first standalone complex of its kind in Asia where 2000 LEGO models based on Star Wars series have been recreated on a scale of 1:20 using more than 1.5 million bricks. 


You'll see seven of the most famous scenes - six from the beloved Star Wars films and one from the smash hit animated series: Star Wars: The Clone Wars, all housed in a fully air-conditioned uniquely shaped standalone octagon building. 

Here's the awesome news for you. Throughout September 2014, various LEGO Star Wars activities have been lined up to commemorate the anniversary celebrations. Amongst this is free entry for children dressed up as their favourite Star Wars character. Promotion period from 6-30 September 2014. 

Annual Pass holders will enjoy a special preview periods from 1-5 September 2014 before the attraction opens to the public. All valid Annual Pass holders will be required to sign up online for the preview.

2014 has been a year of change. So many things had happened, big, small, good and bad, all I can say is that I am thankful. Or to be exact, I choose to be thankful because some things are out of our control.  I thank God for the great things that happened in my life, things such as getting a job that allows me to travel and experience different cultures, having the opportunity to do what I love which is writing and blogging, and to meet new people as well as reunited with friends that I've not seen for a really long time. I also thank God for the unpleasant moments and experiences because they are priceless, a lesson learnt for me to prepare for my future self. Not only making me stronger and more mature, but it also taught me about humility and the gift of silence.
