Pure Beauty Youth Restore Lift & Nourish Skincare [Review + Giveaway]

Okay, so I guess 25 is the age when you start looking into anti-ageing skincare products. Oh well, I'm still going to embrace my mid-twenties in style and endless glowing and firm skin. :D 

You know how everything has a beginning? I remember the time when I just starting off using skincare to maintain my skin, I believe I was 15 and honey, I hated the steps. 10 years down the road, I fell in love with taking really good care of my skin and it's always best to start maintaining my youthful skin at an early stage than later. So why not. 

Watson Malaysia introduced the all-new anti ageing skincare Pure Beauty Youth Restore Lift and Nourish. If you don't know, Pure Beauty is a brand sold exclusively in Watsons and I've reviewed their pretty awesome CC Cream last month. 

This new skincare range comes with four products that promises to rejuvenate and restore youthful skin. The products are Firming Essence, Firming Eye Cream, Moisture Day Cream SPF20 and Repair Night Cream. Each features 4 key ingredients that makes this anti ageing range work:

1. LiftoninTM Complex - Boosts elasticity and reduces wrinkles 
2. Red Korean Ginseng Peptide, Green Caviar and Blue Lotus Extracts - Locks in hydration
3. Certified Organic Extracts (Thyme, Buddleja Davidii, Edelweiss) - Soothing effect
4. Bulgarian Rose Water - Skin radiance

I only managed to try out two out of four products, the essence and the night cream. Here are my thoughts on them after two weeks.

Pure Beauty Youth Restore Lift and Nourish Firming Essence 30ml

The essence has a strong ginseng scent. Very lightweight and runny in consistency. It's filled with highly-concentrated active ingredients to promote rejuvenation and facial contours enhancement. It absorbs really quickly into my skin without leaving any residue and this is a plus point especially for the day time as you can layer your moisturiser, sunblock and makeup without worries of feeling heavy and thick. Suitable for both dry and oily skin type. I also love that it comes in a pump, makes everything so much more hygienic. 

Pure Beauty Youth Restore Lift and Nourish Repair Night Cream 50ml

It's made to reduce fine lines and improve a dull complexion when you sleep and feel fresher with a suppler skin when you wake up. I don't know about fine lines but it's been good with keeping my skin supple and enhancing my skin radiance. It has a thicker consistency, somewhat gel-like, but it doesn't make your skin feel greasy. However, I personally like a heavier layer for the night as I have dry skin, so I do apply them quite generously. 

I use both products on my neck and shoulder as well because those areas age too if you don't know. I recommend these products if you are new with the whole anti ageing or skincare thing, it's an affordable way to start the maintenance before stepping up to more luxurious brands.
