Nokia X Launched in Malaysia.
Cheap, young and colourful, basically summarise the phone. The new Nokia X family of affordable smartphones now (finally) runs on Android apps, coupled with signature Nokia experiences, and the most popular Microsoft services. As the interface remains being tile-based, Nokia came up with the Fastlane, a screen which lets people switch between their favourite apps more smoothly.
Bold and bright at 10.4mm thin, 4" scratch-proof IPS display and exchangeable back covers. This device runs on Nokia X Software Platform and is powered by a 1Ghz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. User can also enjoy free cloud storage using OneDrive and one month of Skype's Unlimited World Subscription for a limited time.
It's available at a RRP of RM399 in bright green, bright red, black and white.
My opinion:
Yes it's cheap, super affordable for students on a budget. With it's price, it has its limitation. First of all, with our great "Let me take a #Selfie" culture, this phone doesn't even cut it because it doesn't have a front camera. Don't even think about using the back camera because the camera quality is really not that great too. At 3mp, it's quite basic. Other than that, I think it works pretty decently for checking social media sites, texting, and calling. Comes with 512MB RAM, up to 32GB expandable memory and 1500mAH battery, this is great for those who don't really care about camera feature in a phone, probably best for teens as their starter smartphone. What I really love about it, is the bright red colour, it's just gorgeous.
