The grand hair cutting happened in D-Pac, my very first time there and it was gorgeous! In conjunction with Vidal Sassoon launching in Malaysia, they had the opportunity to work with Datin Winnie Loo to do a public haircut modelled by a famous local celebrity.

In conjunction with the launch of its newest haircare range, Vidal Sassoon calls all Malaysians to switch up old conventional hairstyles and be brave to explore with the #GetSassooned movement.  


To give the event a big bang, they've invited supermodel Amber Chia on a liberating journey of hair transformation. Yup, they chopped off her everlasting locks in support of the #GetSassooned movement to reveal a fresh, short hairdo by Vidal Sassoon Academy trained celebrity hairstylist, Datin Winnie Loo.

The #GetSassooned movement is only for the young at heart. It's all about self-expression. Only people who are daring, modern and open to experiment will survive in such drastic change. If you need a life changing experience, this movement is made for you.

2014 has been a year of change. So many things had happened, big, small, good and bad, all I can say is that I am thankful.
