Girl Meets Dress: Borrow Party Return!

Image
I think this is an awesome website. BORROW a dress for a last minute party, ATTEND your party looking FABULOUS and then just RETURN without needing to wash it because they do the laundry work for you! Lols! Girls, now we can have more rooms for other things because with this kind of services, we practically don't need to buy new party dress!  Think about it, if you wear designer, it costed you a bomb. Then you will have to send it for laundry if it's a dress you don't want to dump it into the washing machine.  I am apparently subscribed to it for some reason but I never really open their mail. What caught my attention to this was the idea of One Dress Fits All.  Feels like the Sisters of the Travelling Pants!  How unfortunate that they only circulate around the UK as they are based there.  Oh well, maybe soon enough something like this will appear in Malaysia. Would very much love to be apart of such genius company.  http://www.girlmeetsdress.com/

Few Things....

Just some things are worth mentioning. A bunch of makeup goodies from my friends Serene. Thank you!  This is one manicure set filled with all the stuff to help your nails grow faster, healthier, stronger and nicer. Clear and non-colour lacquer. Adore this box to the max.  My baby nephew. What else to say, he is the king of the house with much greetings from the whole family upon arrival. :D He unites the family because he is just sooooo cute and everyone is happy when he is around. Trust me, when he is around, I just don't feel like going out of the house.

Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips [Review]

Image
Each kit comes with 16 strips of different sizes, 1 cuticle stick and a nail filer. It claims up to 10 days of wear and it comes off with nail remover. I wore them only for about 3 days, I have itchy hands, I tend to peel some sides off in class but overall it stays on fairly well. Definitely better than the common nail lacquer. I believe that if I hadn't take it for some shooting purpose, it will probably last for a week. I loved the bling, it is gorgeous and totally  made me feel like dressing up for the passed few days. It didn't looked fake at all and it finish off glossy.  Unfortunately, it does take a few practices before you understand how to apply this like a professional. It is not as sweet as angel applying this on your own nails. I had a rough time figuring it out the first time, thus I do suggest you get some tips of how-to from the internet before opening this box like a kid with a Christmas present. I have linked the video below so you can see how it

Sally Hansen Insta-Dri in Pronto Purple [Review]

Image
The colour is beautiful with shimmers instead of chunky glitters. I would say that I might have worn it longer as my nail colour if I had short nails. For me bright and dark colours are better suit when I apply with short nails. When I have longer nails, I love sliding on clear or lighter shade for a feminine look. The applicator is interesting, is tapered flat at the end. As you can see, is not the common round brush. They call it the Perfectionist Brush. My opinion, I feel that it definitely made a difference and help me apply the polish better. For my smaller nails, one coat is opaque enough while the other bigger nails still need 2 coats. It finished glossy, thank God.  I don't have a particular feeling about the bottle shape but it's unique. It lasted about 2 days before it started chipping at the tips without top coat. It has Flexiglass Complex that gives out the beautiful shine and strong-wear. With top coat, I applied Sally Hansen Miracle Cure and it la

Sally Hansen Miracle Cure Review

I am currently trying a couple of Sally Hansen's products as seen above. Sally Hansen has been a well known brand internationally and definitely have been receiving much coverage in Magazine and many beauty bloggers. Check out their SALLY HANSEN FB PAGE for more updates. I personally wanted to try the Airbrush Legs, erm... cause... my legs are hairy...... Lols. Seriously and I'm lazy in shaving them away. Anyway, I may get them soon and try them out.  For now, I am actually enjoying my Sally Hansen Miracle Cure: For Severe Problem Nails. I have averagely healthy nails and I wouldn't exactly say that my nails are brittle. I have seasons in painting my nails, sometimes I'm extremely 'Gang Ho' in making them looking funky, colourful and pretty without chips and sometimes I just prefer having it clean, nicely shaped with a simple gloss to my nails to bring out the feminine side of me.  For the past month, it was all hectic in my schedules thus

The Sloane Clinic

Image
Where beauty comes with pain and terror.... Lols NAH, Just JOKING.  It's not the case for  The Sloane Clinic  along Jalan Maarof, Bangsar.  Source Yup, this is the only outlet you can find in Malaysia but you can find quite a number of them in Singapore.  Say hello to Dr. Low Chai Ling, her presentation may be long but certainly not boring. She introduced us to many of the clinic's treatment and services. They categories their services from The Face Clinic, The Skin Clinic, The Body Clinic, The Hair Clinic and The Plastic Surgery Clinic. The Sloane Clinic philosophy is to provide only quality treatments because they believe patients deserve nothing less. Their comprehensive armamentarium of both non-invasive and surgical aesthetic services allows them to meet all your beauty needs with any limitations or biases. For that day, mainly we were told about The Face and Skin Clinic. I've learned that botox can help you shape your face by making your jawline lo

[Room Tour] Awana Kijal: Golf, Beach and Spa Resort

Image
Hey Peeps, This is Part 3 of my Awana Kijal, Terengganu trip. If you missed out the previous blogpost, do click here: Part 1 & Part 2. Part 3 will be me blabbing more on Awana Kijal's environment and rooms. Overall, for a 5-star resort I would have liked the place more if the resort has a modern design (maybe cause I am from a younger generation) but we give way to the thought that this resort have been around for quite sometime and Awana Kijal focus highly on Rediscovering Tranquillity, Traditional and Truly Cultural. Thus, the looks, decor and ambience of the resort are very culture inspired with a big congkak and chinese lion dance drums in the lobby area.  We were all surprised when we were given the key to our rooms because it is Actual KEYS, not cards to open the door. I would say that they have maintained the resort quite well, except for one area, the 'volleyball court' I assumed, the net was loose and the floor looks dirty. I was probably turned o
