Loreal Color Infailliable Shadow [Review]

L'Oreal Color Infallible Eyeshadow, a velvety - almost buttery soft - powder eyeshadow, built to last up to 24 hours with claims of being water-resistant and smudge-resistant.

It is called a "hybrid powder texture" because despite it being a powder shadow, it felt almost like cream at first touch. :) Cool stuff.

Applied lightly for a bright eye look.

I'm not exactly sure how many shades are they selling in Malaysia but the one I was given by L'Oreal is the cute Sassy Marshmallow - sky blue mixed with a little girly pink crushed pearl looking shadow. Seriously love how pretty it looks.

To keep the powder compact in the container, it comes with a black cap after opening the pot. The shadow feels amazingly creamy and extremely velvety but not as wet as a cream shadow thus it creases less due to the hybrid powder ideology which makes it great. It is super pigmented even with a light touch.

Note that it is super shimmery, totally can make you look like a disco ball if it not applied appropriately. Then again, the shimmer is what makes it looks so pretty. In some ways, it is still a powdered shadow, thus there will be a tiny bit of fall out while applying them.

I'm not sure if it is really water-resistance as it claims but it truly doesn't smudge so easily. Though, I would say that it does fades after a long day. I think with these kind of shadows, is best to use fingers to apply as brushes may not work well with these hybrid shadows, you will loose the pigmentation.

Apparently it is a limited edition item by L'Oreal, so if you want to try them, is best you run to Watson/Guardian or other leading pharmacies and supermarkets to get them. It cost at RM35.90 per pot of shadow. Rather pricey but it is super pretty and pigmented plus you can use them almost forever as the pot is quite deep for an eyeshadow.
