Physicians Formula Nude Wear Blush & Powder Review

Physicians Formula Nude Wear Blush & Powder Review

I'm so so so happy that these are finally in Malaysia! I have been waiting, especially for the blush, to finally be available in this country. Though, unfortunately, they only brought down 1 colour of each blush and powder. So, I guess on the bright side, you don't have to crack your head to figure out which colour to buy.

I was sent mine by the Physicians Formula team in January to try them out. You can either watch my YouTube video review and demo below or read on further down this blog for a brief written review.

Physicians Formula Nude Wear Blush & Powder Review

Let's talk about Physicians Formula Nude Wear Blush (RM59.25) first. It's an absolutely beautiful blush that's suitable for everyday wear. The colour is not too crazy (when used all together), pigmented yet something that suits most asian skin colour. Of course, you can use each of the colours individually as well, just with a smaller brush. After the first swirl, rubbing the shimmers off the embossed wording, you'll get a matte nude blush shade that makes your complexion look healthier.  I really do like this blush.

As for the Physicians Formula Nude Wear Powder (RM66.70), I don't know why this is more expensive than the blush because I personally think that this, as an overall face powder, it's just merely alright. I mean for me, yes, I guess I do like that it comes in 4 shades that I can use the dark brown to do light shading and the white-ish colour for light highlighting but it's not the most versatile as it may not suit tanner skin tones. It's not a bad product, I just feel for the price, I think there are other better face powders out there that's not as bulky and comes with a better face brush.

Personally, yes, the packing is cute but it is really a little too bulky for travelling. I love the huge mirror at the back of the product but the brush, from both products, is really harsh for the skin. It pokes my skin everytime I use them and produce too much fall out from the palette, making them very, very, dusty.

Both prices stated above are taken from Watsons Online before discount. I believe they do have promotions from time to time, thus it might be cheaper at certain time or comes with free gift. You'll just have to keep an eye on their FB page for any promo. My advise, get the blush and use your own favourite soft face brush, the colour is really beautiful in my opinion.

Thanks Physicians Formula for sending these products to me!
