10 Minutes Althea Trendy Box Challenge & Review!

We were challenged by Althea Malaysia to do a 10 minute beauty challenge using their 10 minutes trendy box! The box includes 6 items that's originally worth RM513.00 but now only priced at RM129.00! It's so worth buying!

Watch the video below to see how each product works on Sara, Miriam and me. We have different skin tone, thus, you'll be able to see if the cushion colour, eyeshadow palette, or the lip colour will suit your skin tone or not. Also, at the same time, have a good laugh at us attempt to beat this challenge. xD

#1 Esthetic House 4D Pore Balance Foam and Pack
It's a multi functional clay foam and mask to cleanse face, remove makeup, and dead skin cells. It's pretty refreshing, works quite nice as a mask as it doesn't dry up the skin like most clay mask do, and it does a decent job at removing simple face makeup. Don't expect this to completely cleanse heavy makeup or waterproof eye makeup.

#2 Pure Smile Rich Flower Point Pad - Gerbera
This smells amazing and I think it works best as a mask before sleep. They are super moisturising and will definitely keep skin well moisturised through the night even in air conditioned room. This is not a mask to be use before makeup we it will cause the mask serum residue to appear while applying foundation.

#3 Missha Natural Cover Tension Pact - no.23
This claims to work as a foundation and a concealer according to the Althea website. It has a mesh type of cushion that's pretty popular these days and it has a super soft sponge. The coverage is not too bad, medium but buildable, and it somehow magically fits all three of our different shaded faces. It's quite magical. It feels pretty good on the skin, seems like a pretty good product to me. Not sure if it's long lasting though.

#4 The Skin Food Mineral Sugar Blend Eyes - 01 Berry Chiffon
I love how sleek and compact this palette is, and it also comes with a huge mirror! The shades are really great for everyday used and pretty easy to blend. The only issue is that I find it really powdery when used with the provided brush which gets on my nerves a little. Maybe using a better quality brush will do the trick or your fingers to reduce fallouts. This can also be use on the brows and as an eyeliner if you have the right brush for it. Maybe can pass as shading powder too, again with the right brush.

#5 RiRe Luxe Dual Stick - no.1 contouring stick
I personally quite like this contouring stick as it's precise enough to get to the corner or the nose without over colouring as well as easy to blend. The shading colour is a little dark for me but with a light hand I still am able to pull it off. The highlight shade though, is really pretty.

#6 Blingsome Long Lasting Lip Lacquer - no.4 Dusty Coral
I like this product very much. It gives a really nice hint of colour on the lips, dries down matte, and easy to blend on the cheeks as well. The colours is absolutely gorgeous but the applicator is not the most useful when it comes to spreading it over the lips. Preferably use your finger or a lip brush more a more precise application. Because it's a lip lacquer, it can get a little dry, thus do applying a balm on top of it.

For more info or to purchase this box, you made find them here at only RM129.00. Althea boxes are usually sold off pretty quickly, thus, better make your move now!
