Shiseido ULTIMUNE Launch + New Ambassador Izara Aishah!

It was redder than Chinese New Year affair in September. Everyone was looking gorgeous in theme while getting the back of their hands pampered with the Shiseido Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate and lips painted with some of Shiseido's great lipsticks. 

The creation of ULTIMUNE is inspired by the immunity in our body. Our skin too, has its own immune system for defence against the increasing environmental threats, emotional stress and ageing that wear down your skin's strength. Ultimune not only focuses on our current skin concerns, it also supports natural skin function to maximise its own ability for us to maintain a strong, healthy skin. 

This pre-serum comes with a complex that helps maintain the function of Langerhans cells, which is to control skin immunity by neutralising skin-damaging factors. However, this calming enzymes of Langerhands cells is proven to decrease with ageing and stress. 

To protect the skin from impurities and oxidised sebum, they came up with a power blend that includes Gingko Biloba Leaf Extract (antioxidant), perilla and wild thyme (anti-bacteria properties). These three plants have a common thriving power, even in proximity to external hazards.  

The texture is really light and watery. Absorbs almost immediately while leaving a smooth yet almost unnoticeable, protective veil. Though, it does have quite a strong green floral fragrance that's intended to be relaxing and energising but I think some may find it a little bit overpowering. 

Shiseido Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate comes in two sizes, 30ml and 50ml.
