RedTail By Zouk: A Spacious, Breathable Game Bar

Image
I'm for real. This is not clickbait. For once, I found a game bar that I don't feel confined and smoky. The best part of it all was to walk out without smelly like smoke from head to toe! RedTail Bar by Zouk opened at Resorts World Genting earlier this year and it's known to be a significantly exciting addition to the vibrant nightlife scene of Genting where the chic and sophisticated spends their leisure hours. Offering the perfect setting for pre-club drinks and group celebration with light finger food, you could enjoy a variety of games like Xbox E-Games, Beer Pong, Shots & Ladder, Battle Shots, Giant Pong, darts, and pool. Well, that night I only noticed the obvious three games, beer pong, giant pong, and pool. Watch our vlog to see more of the RedTail Bar by Zouk! Do like this video and subscribe to our channel!

4 Things That I Like About The New NYX Store In Malaysia

Image
I had the opportunity to attend the launch of the new NYX store in Sunway Pyramid last week and I was quite impressed with all the products that they have in store. NYX Cosmetics is such a huge brand in the states as most of their products are not only amazing, they are also quite affordable.  Of course, bringing them down to Malaysia, it's not the cheapest brand but it's definitely reasonable as it falls in between the drugstore price and a high end price, probably a little bit closer to the cheaper price since drug store brands in Malaysia are not entirely dirt cheap these days too.  Unfortunately, I didn't managed to take a good picture of the entire store cause the launch was filled with people and I didn't enjoy cramping in with everyone ( It's just me, I generally try to avoid crowds ), so I pretty much just walk one round to see what they have for us and I was not disappointed. Here are the few things that I like about the new NYX store.

Here's Your Chance To Get Rid Of Your Old Bras!

Image
Neubodi Bra Drive is one campaign that I've been supporting for a while now and this year, it's no different. I think it's a great way to get rid some of your old bras and at the same time, helping others. This yea, in conjunction with the International Breast Cancer Awareness month How it usually works is that you, as a supporter, donate your used yet still in okay conditioned bra to Neubodi by dropping them off at the "Bra Banks" available in most Neubodi outlets. Then, people from Neubodi will filter all bras and donate these gently-used items to victims of sex trafficking, this will enable their rehabilitation into society as they earn a livelihood selling these second-hand bras. Beneficiaries of the "DONATE" initiatives are communities in Malaysia, Cambodia, Nepal, India, and Africa, including those in poverty for whom bras are sought-after essential item - providing comfort and self-esteem.

5 New Things About Guardian Malaysia That You'll Love!

Image
Guardian in Malaysia used to be a place that I visit when I'm looking for a pharmacist or medicines. They were never my choice of visit when I'm looking for beauty products. Until now. A few of the Guardian outlets in Malaysia had gone through a revamp and boy oh boy, the new Guardian concept store is magnificient! I had the opportunity to visit the fourth revamped outlet in Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall last month, truly, they did an amazing job. It has a really fresh and clean look to it which ultimately enhances customers' shopping experience overall. Here are few things that I like (and I believe you will too) about the new Guardian's Concept Store.

In conjunction with Merdeka and the upcoming Malaysia Day, we've decided to do something fun with some of the people from our favourite cafe Droffee at Tropicana Avenue. They are as simple as Pen and Rubber. Have you played any of these games before? xo,  Twitter  |  Bloglovin  |  Instagram

There's A New System That Allows You To Vote Stuff Through FB Messenger?!

Technology is really something these days. It seems like we can really do it all with the help of super-coders and techie people in this world. Seriously, I salute you guys/girls. Thanks for constantly trying to make our lives more convenient.  I was at the launch of Guardian's Outstanding Brands Award (OBA) 2017 and although I love how short and sweet the event was, I wished they would serve us free warm/cold water. I'd probably sound like a brat now but this was what happened. I requested for warm water from the server and he said they have to charge as it wasn't in the package ordered by the event people. =_= Thank you very much Nicsmann in The Starling.  That aside, when Guardian finally asked up to start participating in their annual Guardian's Outstanding Brands Award online, I thought it would probably just be another "go to our website" and land yourself into a 'ServeyMonkey' looking kind of layout.  Boy, was I wrong.

How To Travel From KL-SG In 2.5 Hours By Train?

Image
So apparently, unless you speed like a mad person with your car, it'll probably takes your more than 3 hours driving from KL to SG. My past experience of driving from KL to Johor town took me about 5 hours. It was such a tiring experience and no, I don't ever plan to drive to Johor, needless to say Singapore, ever again. I'd rather fly even though it's expensive.  But hey, I just found out that Malaysia is in the midst of planning something pretty big. Malaysia is working on this KL-SG SR (High Speed Railway) project where it also stop by on a few major city between KL and Singapore.  If you have watched "Train to Busan", you would know that KTX is a super awesome high speed train that connects cities within South Korea. Recently, KTX came to Malaysia to promote Korea's HSR technology to Malaysian public with the aim to join the bid for KL-SG HSR project. The KTX showroom in Nu Sentral allowed us to understand the Korea's HSR technolo...

#ProbablyTheBest Brewery Tour Ever! \\ #TehChamLee

Image
Shout out to Carlsberg Malaysia for the amazing hospitality and tour! We had such a fun evening tasting unfiltered beers and also all of the different beverages you carry. After the tour, we ended the evening with a little catch up with some blogger friends, Aunty Lilly (http://followmetoeatla.blogspot.my/) and also Uncle Hong, over some amazing food, and games.  Carlsberg is running a campaign where you'll have a chance of wining a VIP Brewery Tour or even a trip to Denmark! For more information on Carlsberg Tour Campaign, visit  www.probablythebest.com.my . Check out the video as below. Also, we took this opportunity to test out the Olympus Tough TG-5 and the TG-Tracker (fish eye). We both quite fancy the Tracker but the TG-5 wasn't really up to our standards. The TG-5 is probably only best for people who are a huge hiking and mountain climbing person that requires the tough camera abilities.  Do like this video and subscribe to our channel! ...

My No-Frills Asian Wedding

Image
This post is written by the groom: My now wife and I got hitched a couple of weeks ago and looking back, it has been a breeze compared to all the scary stories that we were bombarded with the moment people heard that we were planning our wedding. “Have you searched for wedding venues? You need to book at least a year in advance leh”, “What are you wearing?”, “Are your parents agreeable?”, “Wah, so young get married already ah”, “Got money to get married or not?”, and the best question of them all, “Am I invited ah?”. Goodness me! But one thing that I am thankful for is my gorgeous wife. Through it all, she has remained supportive and an absolute gem when it came down to decision making. She always had my back and I am thankful to God for that.  Now for the kickass story! It all started when we first dated. It was a straightforward, no beating round the bush kinda relationship. I asked her out on a date and she said yes. BOOM! None can resist this amazing...
