JQ Talks Business Class! [Vietnam Airlines Review]
Finally, after 24 years of my life, I had my first experience of travelling like princess. Business Class seat on Vietnam Airlines, here we go!
The first thing I notice was the gi-normous seat and leg space, I can stretch and roar like a lion for all I want. Okay, maybe not the roar part, I shall purr in silence. Once I got settled in, I always, always look and touch all the buttons available. Things such as leg rest, back, lumbar support, yup lumbar support, and etc. Those were amazing, I managed to lay pretty straight on my back. Also, I can never refuse a moment of food for thought with any in-house flight and travel magazines. It just seems appropriate since I'm the Editor for a travel website now, need to buck up on my travel vocabulary and learn how to make travelling sounds even better than it already is.
They served hot towels and a choice of juice, soft drink or wine/champagne before take-off. Also, they interest me with a trolley load of all kinds of newspapers and magazines to make my mind off take-off. Travel tip: this is also probably the best time to ask for blanket if you know you are going to get cold later on.
Once we were stable on air, is all about the food babeh. When I first got that blue piece of cardboard, my heart went "Damn, menu on a plane, it couldn't get any better." then I open it up and go "Ok, it just did. It looks like I'm fine dining tonight." *Grins from ear to ear. And that was not it, while I was picking out my dinner, the plane started to smell differently, like a freaking bakery! For the love of bread, I STONED for a while. Being so overwhelmingly stoked by the delicious aroma of carbs. The best part was, it was a selection of buns and garlic bread. Yumsssss. Overall food matter, bread and starter was great but lacking when it comes to the main course and dessert.
Then I ended the rest of my journey with a glass of champagne and a good book. Well, mainly because I wasn't utterly impress with their entertainment system. Other than that, I had a pretty good flight with good services.
This was a snack plate while I was flying from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City. Really delicious.
