One Day In Ho Chi Minh City: What To Do?

Image
After my wonderful trip in Danang, I flew back to Ho Chi Minh City (also known as Saigon) for two nights because Dexter, my partner, has never seen Saigon before. It was his first time in Vietnam and I thought might as well see a little of the city before heading back home. If you are wondering, picture above is an expensive Vietnamese coffee that we've tried from Legend Coffee. The shop is easily found around Ho Chi Minh city. It was pretty good. Now although I said I spent two nights there, but really, due to our flight timing, we really only had one day to really tour the city. Thankfully for the team from Rubicon Tours and 12fly.com.my , they managed to customise our tour according to our flight timing. Even though we only had a day, they ensured that there's a good mix of educational, cultural, historical, and modern visitation. We love the flexibility of our travel agents. We got to stay at a beautiful hotel located at a super strategic area where Ben Thanh Mark...

3 Days 2 Nights In Danang: What To Do?

Image
It's been quite a few years since I've last visited Vietnam. This time, having the opportunity to go back, I didn't just want to see Saigon, I really wanted to see the Golden Bridge in Danang. So naturally, Danang is a huge part of my recent trip to Vietnam. I spent two nights there, following a Danang tour from 12fly.com.my since I personally have no knowledge on the language and it's my first time there, it's best to just get a guide to make things easier. The good part about my travel agent is that they were able to tweak my schedules to follow my flight arrival time as I was taking Vietjet for the entire trip, thus the timing is a little different. Plus, I had a full last day off so I could rest, sleep in, and enjoy my hotel facilities. Exactly just how I like my trips, a break from all the touring. For both nights, I stayed at the Grand Cititel Danang Hotel. It was definitely a great place to stay as it was not only a newer hotel which has a pretty decen...

My Hong Kong Multi-Destination Trip In A Nutshell!

Image
I was invited by Hong Kong Tourism for a multi-destination media trip in May. It was my first time in Hong Kong and definitely first time moving to multiple places from Hong Kong. I guess it does show how easy it is to visit other places from Hong Kong should you ever plan to.  Took me forever to edit and get these videos up but since I love being able to watch back my travel videos and places that I've seen, all that sleepless nights was worth it!  Big thanks to Hong Kong tourism and Macao Tourism for their hospitality! xo,  Twitter  |  Bloglovin  |  Instagram

Vietnam After Dark - 4 Best Nightlife Activities In Ho Chi Minh City

Image
Ho Chi Minh City is Vietnam’s largest city by population. While taking up just a mere 0.6% of the country’s land area, it contains 8.34% of the country’s population and 20.2% of its GDP. This high octane city of both commerce and culture has driven Vietnam forward with an effervescent energy. The city breathes life and vitality into all who settle here, and visitors cannot help but be hauled along for the ride. While Saigon (as it was formerly and still quite affectionately known) is amazing and bustling during the day, the night takes Ho Chi Minh City to a whole new level. Known as a city that never sleeps, Ho Chi Minh City is brimming with a myriad of pursuits and activities after the sun goes down to please just about anyone. While lively and vibrant, it can also be quaint and peaceful. All these factors contribute to Ho Chi Minh City’s uniqueness – which one truly has to experience to appreciate. So, from live music to street dining to cultural pursuits to simply taking in ...

Staycation At The New Hyatt House KL In Mont Kiara!

Image
Dex is officially a full time esports broadcaster on Twitch! So we thought it would be nice to go out and celebrate a little, just in time when my house internet decides to fail on us.  Few weeks back I was offered a complimentary stay in the new Hyatt House KL, located in Mont Kiara, not too far from our home, so why not. I don't enjoy long drives but thankfully this was only 15 minutes away. Lols. So heck yeah. Plus I can't say no to hotel breakfast, we both kinda enjoy hotel breakfast.  We've decided to vlog our trip so anyone interested can have a better look at the place.  Overall, I have to say it was a pleasant stay. The rooms were extremely well done, the mini kitchen was well stocked, bed were comfortable, service was impeccable as they were all really polite and helpful, and the breakfast, darn the breakfast was so, so good. The spread wasn't anything huge but every single dish was absolutely delicious. The place was peaceful while still bein...

Rajawali: The Best Ramadan Buffet Ever!

Image
Dex and I, we love our Ramadan food. It's one of the few things we look forward to every year. One of the blessings being in Malaysia is that we can enjoy some of the best Ramadan buffet and among all the ones we have tried, our hearts will always return to Awana's Rajawali Ramadan Buffet. We are glad that we got the opportunity to enjoy them this year when we were invited for a media trip with Resorts World Genting. Rajawali was the main reason why we said yes and took a weekend trip up, we just couldn't miss this opportunity. Check out our vlog to see more of Rajawali Ramadan Buffet. RedTail By Zouk: A Spacious, Breathable Game Bar

Image
I'm for real. This is not clickbait. For once, I found a game bar that I don't feel confined and smoky. The best part of it all was to walk out without smelly like smoke from head to toe! RedTail Bar by Zouk opened at Resorts World Genting earlier this year and it's known to be a significantly exciting addition to the vibrant nightlife scene of Genting where the chic and sophisticated spends their leisure hours. Offering the perfect setting for pre-club drinks and group celebration with light finger food, you could enjoy a variety of games like Xbox E-Games, Beer Pong, Shots & Ladder, Battle Shots, Giant Pong, darts, and pool. Well, that night I only noticed the obvious three games, beer pong, giant pong, and pool. Watch our vlog to see more of the RedTail Bar by Zouk! Do like this video and subscribe to our channel!

SAMYANG HAS A RANCH? 4 Things To Know Before Visiting Daegwallyeong In Winter \\ Must Visit In PyeongChang!

Image
This is Daegwallyeong Samyang Ranch, also known as Samyang Eco Green Campus. It's one of those places that I personally love visiting. I've always truly enjoy a good view from the top of a mountain, to be able to enjoy some of God's finest creations is a privilege that I usually take my time to indulge in. There are many Daegwallyeong Ranch in PyeongChang, Gangwon Province, and if you ask me, I'd would say that they all probably have a similar view from the top. Last year, I had the opportunity to visit the Daegwallyeong Skyranch, where we took a tractor up the mountain. The view was as pretty as the one from Samyang Ranch but it was much colder and windy, thus I didn't stay out for long. Daegwallyeong Ranches are definitely one place that I would recommend visiting if you like enjoying nice views and taking a long walk with nature. However, there are a few things I would recommend knowing before planning your trip there.

The Beauty Of Woljeongsa Temple & Its Surroundings [Goblin K-Drama Shooting Location]

Image
Guys, I almost cried when I found out that I've visited another Goblin K-drama shooting location. They didn't shoot in the temple but they shot at the trails outside the temple known as Fir Forest trails. Picture below is the entrance of the trail that Goblin K-drama was shot. Here's the prove:  Omgosh why didn't I do my research properly before my trip, I could have took a better picture that look much like the one in the drama. I saw the horn personally but I didn't really car much for it at that moment because the Fir Forest itself is truly wonderful.

Anmok Beach & Coffee Street - FINALLY BEEN HERE! But Is It Worth Visiting? \\ Where to go in Gangneung, Gangwon Province?

Image
Before I start babbling about how I finally made it here, let's take some time to appreciate my two adorable girlfriends who photobombed my pictures without me knowing until earlier today when I was editing these pictures. Omgosh guys, why y'all so kiut!  Speaking of cute, here's another adorbs picture of my other friend trying to chase those beach birds. Just lovely, always make my videos that much more entertaining.  Anyway, as the title states, I've finally visited Anmok Beach and Coffee Street! It was the one place where we didn't manage to visit last year but I'm glad it's part of our Snow Festival In March itinerary this year. It's actually much smaller place than what I had expected. A nice place but much smaller than what I had in mind, probably because there's a hype of this place as being one of the must visit places when in Gangneung, as it's also known as the city of 'Coffee Romance' by the KoreaTimes Onl...

Jayeon Dakgalbi Restaurant \\ Where To Eat In Nami Island?

Image
Firstly, this shop is not in Nami Island itself. Jayeon Dakgalbi (자연숯불닭갈비) is located at the jetty when you buy tickets to take the ferry to the famous Nami Island. Apparently, the must eat at this Chuncheon area (since Nami Island is located here) is dakgalbi or spicy stir fried chicken in English.  There are loads of dakgalbi restaurant nearby the parking lot of the jetty and this is one of them that are pretty tasty with a nice view of the river.

I've Visited The Beautiful Haslla Art World Museum That I Don't Quite Understand \\ What To Do In Gangneung, Gangwon Province.

Image
Before I get all the hate comments, I have to admit that I'm not really an art person. I appreciate the existence of them but generally don't quite understand them and possibly never gonna go in any deeper when it comes to art appreciation because it's just not much my cup of tea at the moment. With that said, a lot of things in this museum I personally don't get it but Haslla Art World Museum has always been a place that I would love to visit when I first wrote about it last year because on the outside, they look super cool and it's located by the sea, the view must be great! The main entrance. Little did I know, it's one of the first few places in the itinerary when I was on media trip for the PyeongChang 2018 Paralympics, Snow Festival in March event recently. Yeay! Haslla Art World comprises of a museum, hotel, and a cafe. I've only toured the museum but I believe the cafe is open to public (I'm not quite sure) . If I'm not mistaken...
