M-Fest: Malaysia Music Festival! Be a star!

Malaysia Music Festival or using its acronym ‘M-Fest’ is a musical festival created by a small of group of music enthusiasts who want to promote the local music industry and to help nurture talents in performing arts among youths below the age of 30. It is open to international students too.

The organizers are launching a nationwide search for new and previously undiscovered talents to participate in the music festival. They are looking for those who can sing, dance or play any music instrument.

Panel of judges will select top 20 participants for a final live audition in October.Eventually 9 finalists will be selected to participate in the music festival on 

3rd December 2011 
at the Cheras Indoor Badminton Stadium 
in Kuala Lumpur.

All 9 finalists shall be given a chance to perform live with top Malaysian artistes at the music festival. Malaysian artistes who have confirmed their participation are Gary Chaw, Yuna, Z Chen, Victor Wong, Bunkface, Thomas Jack, Ah Bin, Danny One and Gin Lee. They represent a wide music genre such as pop, R&B, alternative rock, folk, hip hop and jazz.

One of the nine finalists shall be selected via online voting by the public. 
The one with the highest votes among the top 20 earns a direct qualification to the M-Fest. Online voting shall commence once the audition is closed on 7th October 2011. 


Local pop stars such as Gary Chaw, Z Chen and Victor Wong are thrilled to collaborate with young participants in a live concert for the first time. Yuna, another hugely talented artiste, is looking forward to work with some undiscovered talents in the country.

I believe it was early last year when a video of people cooking instant noodles and enjoying them by the Han River in Korea went viral. Many months later, Dex and I had a trip to Seoul and did this together. While planning this trip, I was so focused on trying to find which Han River that has this special cooking machine. I thought it was only one particular place sell this but it's actually not. I believe by now, pretty much any park that's by the Han River allows you to have this experience as long as they have a convenient store. We've chosen to visit Yeouido Park by the Han River since it was one of the recommended place that my sis-in-law mentioned and she's not wrong, the park was beautiful. I personally do recommend this park too.

Printing My 2014 Memories With Canon! [HUGE GIVEAWAY]

2014 has been a year of change. So many things had happened, big, small, good and bad, all I can say is that I am thankful. Or to be exact, I choose to be thankful because some things are out of our control.  I thank God for the great things that happened in my life, things such as getting a job that allows me to travel and experience different cultures, having the opportunity to do what I love which is writing and blogging, and to meet new people as well as reunited with friends that I've not seen for a really long time. I also thank God for the unpleasant moments and experiences because they are priceless, a lesson learnt for me to prepare for my future self. Not only making me stronger and more mature, but it also taught me about humility and the gift of silence.
