Nadhira launched '12 Shades'

Malaysian-born singer songwriter Nadhira is back following her global travels to find inspiration with her second album "12 Shades"! The album launch was held in Laundry Bar, The Curve on the 28 July 2011.


I was honoured to be invited for this launch to support a local artist. We got an exclusive preview of Nadhira's new song and music video "Tear Us Apart" featuring Ron E Jones that was produced by Tom Diesel, both based in Australia. The first single was an amazing song, I was surprised. If I was listening it through the radio, I wouldn't have guessed that it was sung by a Malaysian singer! The song is a seamless duet about the strength and bond of love.


It made its national debut through Hitz.FM just recently! Other songs featuring 9 more english tracks and 2 bahasa Malaysia tracks in collaboration with Canadian rapper Vandal and Indonesian raggae ambassador ras Muhamad. Some other talents involved are composer Aldisya Latuihamallo and Producer Wishu Prastowo.

I believe by now, pretty much any park that's by the Han River allows you to have this experience as long as they have a convenient store. We've chosen to visit Yeouido Park by the Han River since it was one of the recommended place that my sis-in-law mentioned and she's not wrong, the park was beautiful. I personally do recommend this park too.

Printing My 2014 Memories With Canon! [HUGE GIVEAWAY]

2014 has been a year of change. So many things had happened, big, small, good and bad, all I can say is that I am thankful. Or to be exact, I choose to be thankful because some things are out of our control.  I thank God for the great things that happened in my life, things such as getting a job that allows me to travel and experience different cultures, having the opportunity to do what I love which is writing and blogging, and to meet new people as well as reunited with friends that I've not seen for a really long time. I also thank God for the unpleasant moments and experiences because they are priceless, a lesson learnt for me to prepare for my future self. Not only making me stronger and more mature, but it also taught me about humility and the gift of silence.
