Like a G-12

Just got my hands on a new camera. Wanted a new one for ages even though my old Compact served me well for the passed few years. I still love it but I needed a serious upgrade. 

I think I got talked into getting this Canon G12 by a seller in Fahrenheit88. I just decided to walk in with an intention of enquiring. Little did I know, I freaking walked out with a new tech baby.

I didn't even call anyone to verify if it's a good buy. I still would like to know though, maybe some of you can comment and let me know what you think about Canon G12. 

A semi DSLR, this is so that I can learn more about cameras and their function before I upgrade to a real DSLR. I'm a total noob on this area. 















I told my boyfriend to be best friends with the camera so he can take good pictures of me because he is also not very good at it. Hahahahaha! I always wanted my own personal photographer tagging along everywhere I go, I guess this is my chance. I'm such a vain pot.

I believe it was early last year when a video of people cooking instant noodles and enjoying them by the Han River in Korea went viral. It was a super cool concept and I told myself if I had the chance to go around Seoul myself, experiencing ramyeon at Han River will definitely be on top of my list. Many months later, Dex and I had a trip to Seoul and did this together. While planning this trip, I was so focused on trying to find which Han River that has this special cooking machine. I thought it was only one particular place sell this but it's actually not. I believe by now, pretty much any park that's by the Han River allows you to have this experience as long as they have a convenient store. We've chosen to visit Yeouido Park by the Han River since it was one of the recommended place that my sis-in-law mentioned and she's not wrong, the park was beautiful. I personally do recommend this park too.

Printing My 2014 Memories With Canon! [HUGE GIVEAWAY]

2014 has been a year of change. So many things had happened, big, small, good and bad, all I can say is that I am thankful. Or to be exact, I choose to be thankful because some things are out of our control.  I thank God for the great things that happened in my life, things such as getting a job that allows me to travel and experience different cultures, having the opportunity to do what I love which is writing and blogging, and to meet new people as well as reunited with friends that I've not seen for a really long time. I also thank God for the unpleasant moments and experiences because they are priceless, a lesson learnt for me to prepare for my future self. Not only making me stronger and more mature, but it also taught me about humility and the gift of silence.
