Rajawali: The Best Ramadan Buffet Ever!

Image
Dex and I, we love our Ramadan food. It's one of the few things we look forward to every year. One of the blessings being in Malaysia is that we can enjoy some of the best Ramadan buffet and among all the ones we have tried, our hearts will always return to Awana's Rajawali Ramadan Buffet. We are glad that we got the opportunity to enjoy them this year when we were invited for a media trip with Resorts World Genting. Rajawali was the main reason why we said yes and took a weekend trip up, we just couldn't miss this opportunity. Check out our vlog to see more of Rajawali Ramadan Buffet. My Staycation At The New Best Western Premier Ion Delemen Hotel \\ #TehChamLee

Image
Dex and I were invited for a 3 days 2 nights stay at the new Best Western Premier Ion Delemen Hotel located at Genting Highlands. We are actually pretty glad that there's a hotel that's not specifically located at the peak but at the same time, close enough to travel up and down from the peak. As much as Dex and I do enjoy the mountain weather of Genting Highlands, our issue has always been the peak being too crowded for us to stay while the ones below are a little too far from the peak because we'll still want to spend some of our time at SkyAvenue and other facilities at the peak. The Best Western Premier Hotel is just perfect. It's only 10 minutes drive from the peak and they even provide reliable free shuttle service for their guest. This hotel oozes a luxurious feel yet able to keep the rooms/suites feeling homey. You'll see the pictures of the rooms further down this blogpost. The food, overall, is pretty good. I was FREEZING... In SnowWorld!

Is KL too HOT for you? Want some cooling fun time? Can't afford to go other four seasons country to experience snow? Maybe it is time for you to pack your bags and speed up to SnowWorld Genting! Okay, I'm not just writing this because I work here but I'm here to show off my experience in SnowWorld. I think the last time I was in SnowWorld was during the age where I can't even remember going into a place with snow. Literally super young. When I learn that they are having a launch of the New SnowWorld, I was jumping with joy! I'm not going to say much about this because I'm gonna let pictures explain it to you. Here goes.... Ice Sculpture Refreshments in the Lover Cave.  Not my favourite mascots... The nature of my job, to invite bloggers for any events required bloggers. Thus, I was extremely excited to get these Singaporean bloggers to attend the event!  Before going into the SnowWorld, prep yourself with a couple of winter essen

Through the Instagram Lens | Life in Genting | Finale ++

Let's go for an instagram moments It was my last week there and my colleagues, executives and supervisors were so sweet and kind to somewhat "celebrate" my last  few days as an intern in Genting. I was overwhelmed, truly. My colleagues gathered and had lunch together! The only guy (intern too) in my department gave me this :)  Last week joining the CSR programme to teach kids english.  Second last dinner in Genting. :) Final dinner buffet! Second last day outfit.  Immediately after my internship, I left to Perak for a weekend to celebrate my baby nephew 1st Birthday! He was just so adorable. When I was officially back in Klang Valley, I had to run some errands and collecting all my prizes as well as Rimmel London and Sally Hansen products for reviews as I am StarAsia's Brand Knights/Ambassador. They are recruiting new ambassador, check it out here at:  http://www.yuberactive.com/ I also managed to colle

Life in Genting | CSR | Berbuka Puasa at Kampung Janda Baik

Another fun day for us interns at Genting that day (only the PR department), we were out cooking and preparing the place for a Buka Puasa event with the under privileged. Why is it fun? Because it was one of those days we got to get out of the office. Haha, seriously, we need some exercise and this event was good for us to lose all our fats accumulated for just sitting in the office.  Janda Baik was a beautiful place, windy, calm and quiet. They have a beautiful outdoor living room floating on water which to me, I find it very interesting as we don't get that in KL! It's been a while since I experienced cooking outdoors with a BIG POT and the amount of ingredients we put in is like 10x the amount I put in my own cooking. HAHAHA. So much fun! All I know is that I totally looked like a mess that day, I didn't even bother on my appearance until the opening ceremony. When all the VIP comes and I needed to go out to help, I took off my hair pin and powered my face a little
