Elianto Long Wear Eyeshadow Stick [Review]

I've actually received this quite some time ago but I've only recently have the opportunity to really put them to the test. They look beautiful with the sleek packaging and this collection offers the simplest of all options. Just apply, glide and go. It's German-made and wax-based formula. Comes with a in-built sharpener (YES!) and contains jojoba oil, dermatologically and ophthamologically approved, mineral oil free, paraffin free, paraben free and preservatives free. Sounds pretty amazing isn't it. Read on further to see more and if I like it or not.

First up, it claims to be long lasting with a texture that allows effortless smooth blending. Also, it claims to be waterproof and smudge-proof with a cream-to-powder compound that remains feather light on the lids.

To me, it doesn't feel very much of a smudge proof cause it kinda smudges on me a little after wearing them for a couple of hours, especially on the bottom part of the eyes. I believe it's due to its really creamy consistency that is really nice to blend with. In fact, quite effortless actually. It does feel light on the lids but even thought it does feel like cream-to-powder texture, I still highly suggest to apply some sort as a eye shadow base and apply some powder on top of it just to prevent the tiniest bit of smudging.

Of course, can't deny that it's super convenient and travel friendly. The colour can be blended out or even build on. All 6 shades are really extremely beautiful with slight shimmer to it. In the photo it looks matte but trust me, they have obvious shimmers in them in person.

It's a little messy to sharpen them but well, no complains because it's better than without an in-built sharpener. If you don't sharpen it you won't get a precise line or use it as an eyeliner. It's that simple.

Available in shades of white, brown, blue, navy, purple and black at RM31.90 for 1.4g at all Elianto stores. For more information, visit www.elianto.biz.
