The Long Hours In The Salon For This Purple Hair

Image
If you followed me on Instagram or twitter, you should know that I had a pretty bold change a month ago. My stylist decided to give me a brighter and lighter head, screaming a loud purple with a shorter length. It was a side of mine that I almost thought will never happen but I can proudly say that I finally joined the Unicorn Hair Community and I am loving every moment of it!

CNY Shopping With XES!

Image
I had one pair of beautiful XES heels for the past two years... and now I have three more XES footwear and one bag added into my collection! :D Oh Happy Day!  I wear the black strappy heels (as the one I'm holding in the picture above) pretty often, especially when it's more of a fancier event and so far so good. It's really one of those pair of shoes that will last me for a long time , of course, provided you take good care when it comes to storing them. They are also really sturdy, stable and quite comfortable . Plus, XES shoes are really affordable , especially during festive seasons like these, they'll usually throw in a Buy1Free1 promotion !

Should You Buy Innisfree In Malaysia?

Image
I've decided to bring this question up because I have a couple of friends asking me if it's worth it buying Innisfree in Malaysia. If you don't know, Innisfree is a popular brand from Korea and they've recently launched their first store in Sunway Pyramid December 2014. It was quite the rage for beauty fanatics, I'll admit that I was pretty excited myself when I got invited for the launch.  If you've been following me on Instagram, you would know that I visited South Korea last month. Of course, I've prepared more than enough money for skincare shopping. To my surprise, I actually did not purchased anything from Innisfree and it wasn't because the products weren't great, it's because there weren't much difference when it comes to price.

Bene Premium Bluria & Rougeria Non-Silicone Haircare [Full Review]

Image
I've written a blogpost about the current trend of non-silicone haircare products in the market, you should really read that blogpost first to grasp some idea of why we should opt of a non-silicone product. This blogpost will mainly be a review of the entire range.

O'slee Fourth Generation Rosehip Beauty Solution Ruby Toner [Review]

Image
My first impression was " Air Sirap! " Truly, it does smells exactly like one. Not something that I would say I'm highly fond of, probably due to the fact that I grew up in Malaysia, Rose water beverages were served in almost every Malay weddings and events, or at least used to. Now, I believe many prefer to serve  Teh O Ais Limau as it's less in colouring and taste a whole lot better.  It was quite a struggle to try this at first (due to the fragrance), it's not a turn off or anything, it just reminds me of drinking sweet rose water ( air sirap ) when applying it. As if the product is sweet and it's weird to have them on my face. Though, after applying them, I do like how it feels on my skin as it does give a certain refreshing feeling to my skin.

Oasia Hotel Singapore [Review]

Image
I had a short trip to Singapore last year with a few of my girlfriends with a mission to visit Universal Studio Singapore. Of course, we will need a place to stay and Oasia Hotel Singapore did the trick.  Getting to Oasia Hotel was a total breeze for it has a direct underpass to Novena MRT . It was super convenient for us to just take a train from the Airport!  Getting to Oasia Hotel Singapore from Changi Airport:   Take East West Line from Changi Airport (CG2).  Stop at City Hall (EW13/NS25) and switch to North South Line to Novena station (NS20) At Novena station, follow the signboard that directs you to the hotel.

New Japanese Haircare Trend: Non-Silicone Shampoo

Image
If there's one thing that I've learnt from the recent launch of Bene Premium Hair Care Series in Zebra Square a few weeks back, it would definitely be the statement "A rise in non-silicone haircare products in Japan." Of course, something new in Malaysia, it's no longer new in an advanced country like Japan. Apparently, the sudden appearance of non-silicone shampoos in Japan started way back in 2010 but only the past year, more people took notice of it.
